Your neck label printed onto transfer film and heat-pressed straight onto the fabric, so there is no tag to cut out. 250 from $95, 500 from $145.
Quick answer: Tagless heat transfer labels are your brand, size and care details printed on a transfer film with a heat-activated adhesive, then pressed onto the inside of the garment with a heat press. There is no fabric tag and no cut edge, which makes them the usual choice for activewear, babywear and basics. We print the transfers and ship them to you or your garment factory: 250 from $95, 500 from $145, with a free design proof.

A sewn neck label is a separate piece of woven or printed tape. A tagless label is not a separate piece at all: it is ink that ends up bonded to the garment itself. To get it there, the design is printed in reverse onto a clear or frosted carrier film, a heat-activated adhesive layer goes on top, and the sheet is cut into individual transfers. At the garment factory each transfer is laid face-down inside the neck, pressed with a heat press, and the carrier film is peeled off. What is left is a thin, flexible print with no edge that can rub the skin.
That is why tagless printing has become standard on T-shirts, sports bras, leggings and baby bodysuits. Customers never need to cut a tag out, and the size and care details cannot be lost when they do. The trade-off is that tagless labels need a heat press step in production, and they do not have the texture or premium feel of a woven damask label.
We print the transfers in our factory in China and ship them by DHL or FedEx to you or directly to your cut-and-sew factory, so they arrive before the garments are finished.

Many brands combine them: a tagless print for size and care, plus a small woven hem tag or sleeve tab on the outside for visible branding.
Because the print is part of the garment, it is the natural place for the details that must stay with the product. A typical neck print, top to bottom:
A note on the rules. US labelling rules allow required information to be printed directly on the garment rather than on a sewn label, as long as it is legible and permanent for the life of the product. Placement rules still apply: for garments with a neck, the country of origin is expected at the inside centre of the neck. The EU and other markets have their own requirements. A label printed directly onto the inside of a garment instead of sewn in as a separate piece of fabric. It is usually applied as a heat transfer: the design is printed on a film carrier with adhesive and pressed onto the fabric, then the carrier is peeled away.
Yes, for production we recommend a heat press. It gives even temperature and pressure across the whole print, which is what makes the transfer last. A household iron can work for a handful of test pieces but is not reliable for a run. Every order ships with a press setting sheet for that transfer.
A transfer that was pressed at the right temperature, time and pressure normally lasts the life of an everyday garment. Most failures come from under-pressing or from washing too soon. Press a few test garments, wash them several times, and only then run the full batch.
Yes. Many brands put the size, fibre content, country of origin, RN number and care symbols in the neck print. The information must stay legible for the life of the garment, so keep the text at a readable size and test it through repeated washing. Check final wording with your compliance advisor.
Yes, they are widely used on polyester, nylon and elastane blends. Synthetic fabrics often need a lower press temperature, and dyed polyester can bleed colour into light inks, so tell us the fabric and we will advise a suitable transfer and test settings.
