What is the difference between printed and woven labels?

Woven labels have the design woven in thread, which gives texture and the longest life. Printed labels have ink on a smooth ribbon, which is softer, cheaper and better for small text such as care instructions.

Will the print fade in the wash?

Our printed labels are rated for 60 °C machine washing. Nylon taffeta holds print the longest; satin and cotton soften slightly over many washes.

Can you print on both sides?

Yes. Double-sided printing is standard, so brand and size can go on the front and care details on the back.

Is satin or cotton better for babywear?

Both are soft. Satin is smoother and slightly shiny; cotton tape is matte and natural. Either works well sewn into a side seam.
